MENADD is operated by Gennady Shafir, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This page explains what this site collects and what happens to it.

What is collected

If you subscribe to Diligence Notes, the subscription record stores the email address you enter, the date and time of the subscription, and which page you subscribed from. Nothing else is kept in that record. To prevent automated abuse of the form, the site also keeps a short-lived counter tied to the network address a submission came from. That counter expires automatically within an hour and is not linked to your subscription.

Traffic is measured through Cloudflare, which reports aggregate page views without cookies and without tracking individuals across sites. There are no advertising trackers on this site.

Why it is collected and how it is used

The email address is used for one purpose: sending Diligence Notes, a periodic email on diligence, cap tables, governance and structure in MENA. It is not sold, rented or shared with third parties for their own use.

Where it is stored

Subscription data is held in Cloudflare storage. Cloudflare operates a global network, which means data may be processed outside the United Arab Emirates. Email sent to addresses on the menadd.com domain is routed to a Google mail account.

How long it is kept

Subscription data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask for it to be deleted, after which it is removed.

Your choices

Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also write to gennady@menadd.com at any time to unsubscribe, to ask what is held about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything sent before you withdrew it.
